OUR PROJECTS
Meeting Immediate Needs
Grocery Outreaches
Every month we provide grocery parcels to families in need in the hardest week of the month. Making sure that there are no more hungry tummies!
Nursery Schools
We help equip low-cost/free day care centres with age appropriate toys and educational tools. Each child deserves a fun and safe environment to play in during the day!
Furniture Re-distribution
We re-distribute pre-loved furniture to those in need who can’t afford their own. This helps to make sure no one is sleeping on the cold floor at night!
Christmas Shoe Boxes
Each December we provide parents living in poverty with Christmas gifts for their children. They give these as if they bought it themselves. This encourages family relations and makes sure no child wakes up to nothing on Christmas morning.
Empowering people to change their circumstances
Stationery Drive
We help equip the youth with the books and stationery they need to excel at school. This empowers them to work hard towards a better future!
Sewing Classes
We are training up 10-20 women a month in sewing classes. These are run Monday to Thursday each week and the ladies are taught basic sewing skills so that they can make and tailor items in order to create an income for themselves!
CV Bank
We empower those who are unemployed to find meaningful employment by helping them set up professional CV’s and even email addresses to apply for jobs online.
Interview Prep
We help equip the unemployed to get the jobs they apply for by hosting free interview skill workshops as well as mock interviews to make sure they are ready to impress!
Free Clothing Store
We equip the unemployed to make the best of their interviews by offering free work appropriate clothing.
Mentorship
We are currently busy setting up a project where we connect successful entrepreneurs with aspiring entrepreneurs that are living in poverty. This will empower the nation to start businesses and create more jobs in our already fragile economy.
Inspiring people to seek a better life
Girl You CAN Do It
We host a girls-only event where women who have grown up in poverty and followed successful professions come and inspire the youth to stay in school and that they can become anything they would like to be.
Men’s Tribe
We host a boys-only event where men who have grown up in poverty and followed successful professions come and inspire the youth to stay in school and that they can become anything they would like to be.
Career Based Life Orientation
We help prepare the youth growing up in poverty for life after school by providing lessons on choosing a career path, creating a CV, applying for bursaries/learnerships etc.
